Mix Analyzer legal
Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Mix Analyzer, including the website, audio analysis features, account system, API, token purchases, Supporter subscription, and support form.
Last updated: April 25, 2026
Use only content you can process
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload and analyze audio files through Mix Analyzer.
Paid features are digital
Credit packs are one-time digital token purchases. Supporter is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe until canceled.
Analysis is guidance
Mix Analyzer provides technical and AI-assisted feedback, not a guarantee of artistic, commercial, platform, or mastering results.
Acceptance of these terms
By using Mix Analyzer or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Mix Analyzer provides audio upload, analysis, visualization, AI-assisted mix feedback, comparison tools, API access, account features, and optional paid billing features. Supported website uploads include common audio formats such as MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, AIF, M4A, PCM, and OGG, with upload-size limits. API uploads support a separate set of allowed formats and limits described in the API documentation.
Features may be free, token-based, subscription-based, beta, experimental, rate-limited, temporarily unavailable, or changed over time.
Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
- Email verification may be required before login or account use.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys.
- API keys are shown once at creation. Store them securely and revoke unused or compromised keys.
- We may limit, suspend, or disable accounts or API keys for abuse, fraud risk, security risk, unpaid charges, or violation of these terms.
Audio uploads and rights
- You must own or have permission to upload and analyze any audio you submit.
- You may not upload content that is illegal, malicious, privacy-invasive, infringing, exploitative, or intended to attack the service.
- Uploaded source audio files are temporary and are deleted after analysis completes, but analysis results, metadata, hashes, filenames, and related records may remain so reports, history, API responses, security, and billing can function.
- If AI features are enabled, analysis data or short extracted audio segments may be sent to configured AI processors such as OpenAI or OpenRouter as described in the Privacy Policy.
AI and analysis output
Analysis scores, visualizations, genre, mood, voice, instrument, keyword, spatial, and AI insight outputs are generated by algorithms and may be incomplete, inaccurate, subjective, or unsuitable for your specific project. You are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it.
Mix Analyzer does not promise that your track will meet any streaming, label, distributor, mastering, broadcast, loudness, accessibility, commercial, or legal requirement.
Paid tokens, Supporter subscription, and billing
- Credit packs: one-time digital token purchases are charged in Stripe Checkout at the time you complete checkout.
- Supporter subscription: the Supporter plan is charged when the subscription starts and renews monthly through Stripe until canceled. You can manage or cancel it through the Stripe customer portal when available in your account.
- Token usage: tokens are consumed when you request billable API analyses, full analyses, single modules, premium AI reruns, or other token-priced actions shown in the app.
- Stripe: Stripe processes payment details. Mix Analyzer stores billing status, Stripe customer/subscription references, webhook records, and token transaction records, but not raw card numbers.
- Taxes and fees: prices may be shown before taxes, processor fees, currency conversion, or charges required by law or payment networks.
Refund and cancellation policy
- Credit packs and token usage are digital services. Used tokens are generally not refundable unless required by law or caused by a confirmed billing or technical error.
- Unused accidental purchases may be reviewed if you contact support promptly with your account email and Stripe receipt reference.
- Supporter subscriptions can be canceled for future renewal through the customer portal. Cancellation normally keeps current-period access until the paid period ends.
- If a paid analysis or premium AI model fails and the app can identify the failed charge, Mix Analyzer may automatically refund the relevant token surcharge or adjust your credit balance.
- Card disputes and chargebacks may cause account or billing restrictions while the issue is investigated.
API use
- API access may require an account, API key, sufficient tokens, and an eligible user group.
- You must follow rate limits, request-size limits, authentication requirements, and API documentation.
- You may not resell, proxy, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or abuse the API or use it to process content you do not have rights to process.
- We may rotate, revoke, rate-limit, or suspend API keys for security, abuse, billing, or operational reasons.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt unauthorized access, vulnerability exploitation, credential stuffing, card testing, spam, scraping, or denial-of-service activity.
- Do not upload malware, private keys, passwords, card numbers, or highly sensitive personal information.
- Do not interfere with security controls, rate limits, payment flows, API key controls, or file-deletion mechanisms.
- Do not use Mix Analyzer in a way that violates applicable law, third-party rights, payment network rules, or Stripe policies.
Availability and changes
Mix Analyzer is provided on an as-available basis. We may update, remove, pause, rate-limit, or change features, models, pricing, processors, token costs, API behavior, storage behavior, or subscription benefits. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Intellectual property
You keep the rights you have in your uploaded audio. You grant Mix Analyzer the limited permission needed to upload, convert, analyze, process, generate outputs from, display, and delete your audio and analysis data as needed to provide the service.
Mix Analyzer, its interface, code, branding, analysis reports, documentation, and service design are owned by their respective rights holders. Do not copy, misuse, or imply endorsement by Mix Analyzer without permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Mix Analyzer is provided without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, mix or mastering decisions, release delays, distributor rejection, platform loudness changes, third-party outages, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Support and legal requests
For support, billing questions, privacy requests, account deletion, or legal-policy questions, use Customer Support. Include your Mix Analyzer account email and relevant Stripe receipt or API key name when applicable. Do not include passwords, card numbers, or private keys.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product, billing model, processors, API, legal requirements, or operating practices change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
