Mix Analyzer FAQ

Answers about audio analysis, uploads and account help

Quick answers for producers, engineers and developers using Mix Analyzer on the web or through the API.

What audio formats are supported by Mix Analyzer?

Mix Analyzer supports MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, AIF, M4A, and PCM audio formats for free analysis.

How does the AI-powered analysis work?

Mix Analyzer reviews your audio across frequency balance, dynamic range, stereo field, clarity, harmonic content, transients, and related mix signals, then turns those measurements into practical recommendations for producers and engineers.

Is my audio data kept private?

Uploaded audio files are processed securely and are not shared with third parties. Source files are deleted after analysis completes, while account history may keep analysis results and metadata needed for reports, billing, and support.

How accurate is the frequency spectrum analysis?

The frequency analysis uses FFT-based spectral processing and mix-specific measurements to identify balance issues, masking, low-end buildup, harshness, and other frequency problems.

What is the maximum file size I can upload?

Mix Analyzer accepts audio files up to 50MB for website uploads.

Does Mix Analyzer work on mobile devices?

Yes. The website is responsive for phones, tablets, and desktop browsers, so you can upload and review mix feedback from modern mobile devices.

What should I select for instrumental track?

Select instrumental when the track contains no vocals. That helps the analysis weight frequency, clarity, and arrangement recommendations toward instrumental material.

How can I interpret the mix score?

The mix score is a 0-100 summary of technical mix quality. Higher scores indicate stronger balance and translation, while lower scores point to areas that need review in the detailed analysis.

Where can I get help with billing, accounts, API access, or upload problems?
